Army official website

Late but not very late... Our proud, our saver The Indian Army launched a webportal - www.indianarmy.nic.in. The webportal is hosted on National Informatics Centre (NIC).

The newly launched webportal, as claimed by the authorities, has been developed on the state-of-the-art technology available and is built on a strong platform to prevent any hacking/defacing attempts. Various options like search, user interactivity, latest events, feedback, secured login, decentralized data update, space for all the arms/services of the Indian Army etc. are part of the newly launched webportal.

The website also hosts recruitment procedure details and those who are interested can download application forms from the website too. It also has a photo and a video gallery. One can also enquire about The Right to Information Act and its application plus pay homage to the martyrs through this website.

The website is totally divided into 8 parts
Career
Adventure
welfare activities
pay homage to martyrs
Right to information (RTI)
Operation / UN Mission
Aid to civil authority
Gallery of pictures

Each section contains history snapshot and more information.

Do visit and provide feedback.
